When we first opened at the Senior Center, the
intention was to offer classes in various forms of art and crafts.
Dedicated though our group of "crafters" may be, teachers we are not.
So if there is anyone out there who would like to teach a class, your suggestions
are welcome. As it is now, our "work room" has grown into a wonderful "Gift
Shop" where the results of our many dedicated and talented crafters are
displayed for sale. Many of the items are really unique and the variety
is amazing!! It ranges from hand stitched to woodcraft and everthing in
between.
Our group meets on Wed. afternoon from 1-3 pm,
to work on joint or individual projects. We welcome new people and ideas
and we enjoy the company. Our " work shop" has evolved as an on going
fund raiser for the Senior Center.
Many of the items offered for sale have been donated
by crafters who do not attend the work shop but want to contribute, and
many items have been crafted by our group with donated materials.
Prices range from $1.00 to $ 50.00 Beautiful one of a kind
gifts, that are sure to please!! The Gift Shop can be accessed Mon.-Fri.
during our regular hours at the Senior Center 9 am-4 pm and on Sat. morning
during the Pancake Breakfast. 8 am-11 am. Watch
for our "Annual Craft Fair " in the fall.
